The Fast Track masonry support system, developed by IBP, is engineered to deliver the appearance of full masonry construction while reducing structural demands and overall project costs. Unlike conventional stone veneer systems that require a dedicated concrete footing to carry the weight of the masonry, Fast Track is designed to support cladding without the need for additional foundation work. This approach can help streamline construction and create meaningful savings in both time and materials.

With a system weight as low as 14 pounds per square foot, Fast Track integrates efficiently into new construction using conventional building methods and can also be attached to existing wall studs in retrofit applications. Its lightweight design supports a wide range of architectural uses, including vertical accent walls, soffits, and other horizontal applications. The system is compatible with kerfed cladding materials and is available with natural limestone and lightweight cast-stone panels in standard nominal sizes of 8″ x 24″, 12″ x 24″, 16″ x 24″, and 24″ x 24″, with custom sizes available by special order.

Fast Track also supports sustainable building objectives. The extruded aluminum channels and clips contain a minimum of 25% post-consumer recycled content, and the system can be dismantled and repurposed as building needs evolve over time. IBP provides project-specific engineered, stamped drawings along with in-house technical support to assist with design and installation.

The patent-pending system includes extruded aluminum support channels, flexible centering cushions, aluminum support clips, screws, shims, backer rod, and sealant. Installation is straightforward: after the starter channel is secured, transition channels are installed from bottom to top, concluding with a receiver channel that incorporates an integrated drip edge. Panels slide or click into place for a secure fit, and joints are completed with backer rod and silicone sealant, available in a range of coordinated colors for a finished appearance.
