Few wall systems offer the versatility, cost control, and code compliance of Omni Block. Engineered to accommodate a wide range of architectural styles, Omni Block meets demanding structural and energy performance requirements while remaining economical. Its multi-layered design features constricted cross webs that form individual cores, each fitted with precision-cut foam insulation inserts. The result is a self-contained wall system that does not require additional furring, supplemental insulation, or drywall. For a seamless interior transition, the block can be plastered with standard joint compound to match adjacent gypsum board surfaces.

Omni Block may also remain exposed on the interior, exterior, or both, offering finish flexibility not typically achievable with conventional construction. The Omni Block System 8 includes five primary unit types. The Omni Stretcher is the standard field unit, while the Omni Left Corner/Jamb and Omni Right Corner/Jamb are used alternately at corners, in-line piers, and around window and door openings. Standard 8″ x 8″ x 8″ half blocks are utilized at jambs, and in select conditions where closed ends are required, a standard 8″ x 8″ x 16″ unit is incorporated.

Insulation inserts are available in Long and Short configurations, each sized to match specific block cavities. Manufactured slightly taller than the block units, the inserts extend into the horizontal mortar joints to maintain continuous insulation. Vertical joints are insulated through the overlapping design of the short insert, creating true “whole-wall” thermal performance rather than isolated cavity insulation.

Produced from Expanded Polystyrene (EPS), the inserts provide reliable thermal resistance along with additional benefits. They are non-toxic, do not off-gas, exhibit limited flame spread characteristics, and are manufactured using a closed-loop steam process with minimal environmental impact. Beyond standard gray units, many distributors offer integrally colored, scored, burnished, or split-face finishes, delivering durable architectural surfaces that help reduce long-term maintenance and lifecycle costs.
